Guy Maddocks has been a car and motorcycle enthusiast all his life, riding motorcycles from the age of eight he left school and had only one thing in mind, MOTORCYCLES, he negotiated a job as an apprentice motorcycle mechanic at Cosmopolitan Motorcycles in South East London where he completed a 6 year apprenticeship with college and factory training at Yamaha working on Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki, from there he moved to Harvey Owen, where his knowledge of makes was extended to Kawasaki and Triumph.

Other jobs followed and he spent many years making Cartoon Films, editing and directing many children's series, working on Roger Rabbit for Walt Disney, these jobs allowed him to indulge in his passion for classic machinery leading the ownership of many classic vehicles over the years. 

After the sale of his successful venture, The Board Barn Surf Store, he is now back enjoying his passion.

Being located here in the West Country we have access to some incredible craftsmen in the motor industry. Metal Fabricators that brought you the beautiful XK13, mechanics that maintain countless classic cars such as some of the Ferrari's that abound Goodwood, Trimmers, Painters and so on.

Guy's enthusiasm and knowledge of classics flows over, and he will happily spend hours chatting about them, we can source vehicles, maintain them or restore them for you.
