What Have I done!!!

Well, i'll tell you what, I have built this beauty for some lucky bugger to own, acquired from a deceased estate, this lived in the old fell's front room along with his wife!

I was in kit form when I bought it and incomplete, so over a couple ( understatment ) of yearsI put this together, i decided to build it as a homage the the famous Fredie Cooper Triton of the 60's, which was built as a bet from a Motor Cycle News Journo that Freddie, couldn't build a race bike for under £100 ( at the time ) and compete at the Isle of Mann, well he did and it looked pretty much like this, but it certainly didn't have the GP engine you see here, these engines were originally designed and built by triumph for lancaster Bomber generators! YES, I kid you not, so built to High, Aircraft / Military spec, with alloy barrels and needle roller bearing cranks ( around 164 made in total ) T100's of that period had steel barrels, these things were far superior, and the race boy's got hold of them and went on to sorm the IOM on them.

The work inside this engine is a joy to behold, ( I have images ) everything is polished and lightened, crank, rods, valve gear, push rods, the head is flowed, ported and polished, exhaust pipes are hand formed, tank is from a vincent racer, it SOUNDS just AMAZING, its not road registered as yet, but has a frame number and may well be by the time you see this advert.

Norton Wideline Frame, I have fitted a Speedo instead of the Rev counter for road use, I am soo happy with this build, its been entered in the Bike Shed show, wheather I will get a spot or not remains to be seen, probably not because its not a Brat bike !!!

Hours wise it probably stands me in the asking price!!!

But it had to be bought, saved and built, its what I have to do...
